Ata

Ata is a long-established Iranian food brand founded in Tehran in 1963. According to the company's published history, its early production activities began in the Zarrabkhaneh district before manufacturing was relocated to the company's current site on the Old Tehran–Karaj Road as the business expanded.

The present Ata manufacturing complex covers more than 32,000 square meters and includes production and packaging areas, warehouses, cold storage, quality-control laboratories, research and development, sales, commercial operations, and export functions. Its quality-control laboratory includes both microbiological and chemical testing sections.

Ata also has a documented history of export activity. The company's current organizational structure continues to include commercial and export operations, while its official content archive records food exports to markets such as Iraq. Foodex Iran presents this as part of the brand's commercial history and only identifies current export markets when recent evidence is available.

From a legal perspective, Ata is presented as the principal brand of Ata Food Industries Co. Other companies using the Ata name, including distribution entities, are kept separate unless their legal or operational relationship with the brand can be independently verified.
