About Miwa
Miwa is an Iranian natural mineral water brand whose current commercial development began in 2017/18 with the expansion of Alborz Polur's mineral-water operations. The brand sources its mineral water from natural springs in the Polur region of the Alborz mountain range and bottles it at its production facility in Larijan, Mazandaran Province.
Miwa's core portfolio consists of natural mineral water in 200 ml, 250 ml, 330 ml, 500 ml and 1.5 litre formats. Sparkling water is also part of the brand's current product range.
The Miwa production complex is located near Polur, at the beginning of Lasem Road. The site covers approximately 50,000 square metres, and an additional production line commissioned in 2024 increased the company's stated annual production capacity to 600 million bottles.
Miwa currently operates within ALEF, while Alborz Polur Manufacturing and Trading Co. remains the principal operating company associated with the brand's mineral-water production.
