Saei

Saei is an Iranian edible-oil brand associated with Golestan Dezful Agro-Industry Co. in Khuzestan Province. The company's industrial roots date to the 1990s, with commercial production beginning around 2000. The current official Saei website describes the brand as having entered the edible-oil market in the early 2000s.

Its present portfolio centers on sunflower oil, palm-free transparent frying oil, low-absorption frying oil and omega semi-solid oil. The company positions product formulation, reduced trans fats and selected palm-free formats as important elements of its current product strategy.

The manufacturing base is located near Dezful, on the Shushtar corridor. The wider industrial structure also includes Forbest Dezful Co., an affiliated edible-oil manufacturing operation with licenses covering a broad range of soybean, sunflower, canola and corn oils.

In 2025, Golestan Dezful and Forbest Dezful signed an investment agreement for new edible-oil storage tanks at Amirabad Port, indicating further investment in raw-material logistics and storage infrastructure.

From Foodex Iran's perspective, Saei is notable less for a very broad consumer portfolio and more for the industrial infrastructure behind the brand. Its production base in Khuzestan and recent investment in edible-oil logistics illustrate the importance of supply-chain capabilities in the edible-oil sector.
