Hajabdollah

Haj Abdollah is a long-established Iranian food brand specializing in pashmak and traditional confectionery.

The business traces its roots to the early 1950s in Tabriz, where founder Haj Abdollah Rouhi Bolvirdi began producing pashmak and ice cream. The brand currently identifies 1955 as its official heritage date and was named in honor of its founder.

The business remained family-operated and gradually transitioned from traditional production into an industrial manufacturing operation. During the late 1990s, the company expanded its industrial capabilities, with mass production at its current manufacturing site in Shahid Salimi Industrial Town beginning in 2000–2001.

Haj Abdollah became one of the pioneering Iranian producers to develop pashmak as a modern packaged consumer product rather than primarily a loose traditional confection. The company also participated in the development of Iran's national standard for pashmak.

Its portfolio has since expanded beyond traditional fibrous pashmak to include bite-size, coated, flavored and gift-packaged varieties alongside selected confectionery products such as lokum, wafers, cakes and cocoa-based products.

Haj Abdollah's main manufacturing facility is located in East Azerbaijan Province, supported by an extensive domestic sales and distribution network.

The company also has a long documented export history. Independent trade data confirms international shipments of its cotton-candy products, while Haj Abdollah products are available across a range of overseas markets.

The business remains family-led and active in both Iranian and international confectionery markets.
