Ladan

LADAN is one of Iran's long-established edible-oil brands, rooted in the history of Behshahr Industrial Company. The producer began industrial operations in 1951, while historical records confirm that products carrying the LADAN name were already present in the Iranian market by 1964. Behshahr Industrial Company remains the principal manufacturer of LADAN edible-oil products today.

LADAN's core portfolio is centered on liquid and semi-solid edible oils, including sunflower, canola, corn, olive and sesame oils, alongside cooking oils and products designed for household and professional applications. The LADAN Gold name has also been used across selected premium oil products. More recently, the LADAN identity has expanded beyond edible oils into canned tuna, adding another food category to the brand's portfolio.

A significant ownership transition took place in 2024. Saudi-based Savola Group, which had invested in Behshahr's Iranian operations since 2004, signed an agreement on 31 December 2024 to sell its entire Iranian business for SAR 705 million, ending roughly two decades of investment in the country. Following the transition, the Iranian group operates under the Sepanta Behshahr structure, while Behshahr Industrial Company continues to manufacture LADAN's core edible-oil products.

LADAN continues to benefit from Behshahr Industrial Company's large-scale manufacturing infrastructure and a nationwide distribution network. The brand was also recognized in 1403 SH in consumer-brand awards across both edible oils and canned tuna.
