About Pegah
Pegah is an Iranian dairy brand and the principal consumer brand of Iran Dairy Industries Co. The industrial roots behind the brand date back to 1954, when a national initiative was launched to develop hygienic, industrial-scale milk production in Iran. The group's first pasteurized milk facility officially began operations in 1957.
The Pegah brand in its current unified form was introduced in 2001, when Iran Dairy Industries Co. adopted the Pegah identity across its products and affiliated dairy companies. Foodex Iran therefore distinguishes between the industrial history of the organization, which dates back to 1954, and the history of Pegah as a unified consumer brand, which begins in 2001.
Today, Pegah operates through a nationwide industrial network rather than a single factory or legal entity. The wider Iran Dairy Industries structure includes manufacturing companies as well as livestock, packaging, commercial, export, and distribution operations across Iran.
This multi-company structure also extends into Iran's capital market. Several Pegah-affiliated companies are independently listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange or Iran Fara Bourse, while the Pegah brand itself and Iran Dairy Industries Co. do not currently have a single publicly traded ticker. Foodex Iran therefore attributes stock-market data to each listed legal entity rather than presenting it as stock information for the Pegah brand.
