About Sanjabak

Sanjabak is an Iranian packaged nuts, seeds and dried-fruit brand whose documented history can be traced to the late 2000s. The brand developed from a business background in traditional nuts and dried fruits and gradually moved toward packaged consumer products and a more structured distribution model. Its earliest traceable trademark registration dates to 2010.

Seeds and packaged nuts have remained at the center of the Sanjabak portfolio. The brand has marketed sunflower, watermelon and pumpkin seeds, peanuts, pistachios, mixed nuts, kernels and dried fruits, with flavored formats and smaller consumer packs forming an important part of its product identity.

Historical business coverage indicates that Sanjabak initially expanded distribution through Isfahan and Karaj before developing a broader presence in Tehran. From the early 2010s, distribution became an increasingly important part of the brand's development, while its advertising activity also expanded through campaigns focused particularly on sunflower seeds and social consumption occasions.

The brand currently operates within Sedaghat Foroozan Iranian Co., whose activities cover the processing, packaging and distribution of nuts, seeds and dried fruits. The company's registered product portfolio and trademark structure indicate that Sanjabak continues to remain closely focused on these core food categories.

Sanjabak has also participated in international food-industry events, including ANUFOOD China in 2018. Current destination markets, however, should be independently verified before specific export countries are attributed to the brand.

From Foodex Iran's perspective, Sanjabak can be viewed as an interesting example of the broader shift in Iran's nuts and seeds market from predominantly loose products toward branded, portioned and flavored snack formats. Product innovation, packaging and consumption occasions appear to have played an important role in building the brand. At the same time, the category illustrates how long-term competitive strength in FMCG may depend not only on the product itself, but also on distribution reach, point-of-sale execution, pricing and consistent brand communication.
