Mostafavi saffron

Mostafavi Saffron is an Iranian saffron brand originating in Mashhad. The company's current official history dates the business to 2001, while the original legal entity, Mostafavi Saffron Co., was also incorporated in the same year. The brand's current principal operating company is Mostafavi Saffron Mehr Iranian Co., a private joint-stock company established in 2017 that owns several registered MOSTAFAVI trademarks and a broad portfolio of registered food products.

Its portfolio has evolved from saffron into six principal consumer categories: saffron, beverages, nuts and dried fruits, sweets, spices and gift packs. The company also maintains a dedicated export portfolio covering retail and bulk saffron formats, including Negin, Super Negin, Sargol, Pushal and saffron powder.

Quality-control infrastructure is another significant part of its operation. The company's specialist laboratory reports accreditation under ISO/IEC 17025 with NACI reference NACI-LAB-1443, originally granted in November 2020, and provides physical, chemical and microbiological testing services for saffron and selected food products.

Mostafavi also operates an extensive direct-retail network in Mashhad, including locations close to the Imam Reza shrine, Ahmadabad, Koohsangi, Almas Shargh, Mashhad International Airport and the company's Toos manufacturing site.
