About Roshd
Roshd is a long-established Iranian food brand whose history dates to 1358 SH (1979–1980) in Yazd Province. The business began with the establishment of Azad Macaron, initially focusing on pasta production for the regional market. Over the following decades, production capacity and distribution expanded across Iran and into neighboring markets.
A major development phase began in the 1370s SH, when the company expanded its research and development activities and entered the industrial cake-mix category. According to the company's official history, this period included national-standard recognition for ready cake mixes and ISO 9001 certification within Iran's pasta industry.
Roshd has since evolved into a multi-category food brand. Its current portfolio includes pasta, cake and jelly mixes, grains, flour and baking ingredients, breadcrumbs, desserts, pasta sides and other convenience-food products.
From Foodex Iran's perspective, Roshd illustrates how a food brand can extend beyond its original category while preserving market continuity. Its transition from pasta manufacturing into a broader portfolio of home-cooking and convenience products is an important part of the brand's long-term development.
