Shahd Iran Co. is a long-established Iranian fruit-processing company founded in Mashhad in 1982. Initially established to produce fruit juice and process agricultural produce, the business subsequently expanded into fruit concentrates and related fruit-derived ingredients. Shahd Iran converted from a private to a public joint-stock company in 1992 and its shares are traded on the Tehran Stock Exchange under the ticker “غشهد”.
The company's current operations are primarily centred on fruit concentrates. Its officially presented portfolio includes apple, pomegranate, sour cherry, beetroot and date concentrates, alongside other fruit-derived products and essences. These ingredients serve beverage manufacturers and other food-processing applications. Over its history, Shahd Iran has also marketed consumer products under names including Goldees, Hani and Benis.
Shahd Iran's current position is therefore defined more by its role in fruit processing and the food-ingredient value chain than by a single consumer-facing brand.
